Hello
Today I got told that my computer is a bit old and cannot run Left 4 Dead-which sucks.
The problem was my graphics card :
GeForce FX 5200.
Now I thought about getting a new motherboard to harbour a PCI-E graphics card,, but then thought it would be too difficult.
I'm looking for a new tower, with a good CPU, around 2GB of RAM but 1GB will be ok and a good, up to date graphics card that will run Left 4 Dead without any problems. Also, my price range is aorund 200-300 pounds.
Can anyone recommend me one?
Thanks
fabz

2 - 300 is a little low for a high spec machine, you may want to save some more money and get a higher spec PC that will last a good few years rather than one or two and need to be upgraded.
For example a nice simple gfx card is above 100

Just a thought not a 'go'.

To save money on the GFX card consider getting two cheaper cards you can then SLi - thats what I'm doing. USe Ebuyer they're good and Dabs too. Rarely buy anything from Ebay for my PC maybe I should start?
I just need a few more things before I build my new rig. I'm more of an Intel and nVidia fan to be honest but its up to you. Get as much RAM as you can afford and for your budget keep everything simple so I suppose the SLi thing maybe out of the question actually. Check out Ebuyer like I said they do some complete systems for not much dollers - good luck
