I'll probably still get it seeing as im a whore for zombie games, but it is rediculous how soon they're realeasing it. Why in the hell can't they be this quick with the HL2 Episodes

because I bet theyll do the episodes proeperly. Hl2 episodes are relaly only followed properly by n00bs like us that want them so badly, whereas L4D2 will be grabed by LOADS of people, including me even thought I bought the first one

Oct 2, 2009 - Valve, creator of best-selling game franchises (such as Half-Life and Counter-Strike) and leading technologies (such as Steam and Source), today announced pre-order details for its upcoming action thriller, Left 4 Dead 2 (L4D2).

Starting now, those who pre-order L4D2 via Steam will receive early access to the Left 4 Dead 2 demo (currently targeted for October 27) plus an exclusive in-game item - the American baseball bat, one of the 10 new melee weapons included in the game.

In addition, Steam is offering a 10% savings to those who pre-order.

yeah, lets work out who wants a copy and sort the l4d2 x 4 pack on steam and only pay £20 rather than £36

Just picked up L4D2 for £12 by getting the four pack with some German chaps. Their version is censored and costs the equivalent of £41 over Steam, so they Paypalled me cash and I gifted them all cheap, proper copies.

Played the beta today.... Tis good! Very much like L4D but with a few addons (Better guns, Characters, Zombies, Level, graphics)

IMO it really is just L4D with a few tweaks (Of course the version i was playing was not finished so it could improve)















Now you are all going to ask how i played the Beta? Well, i went to Thrope Park today and we went to get a Coffee from the main area and there was a booth with 4 360's and some massive screens, with 2 guys in EA shirts walking round them.

"Hello Sir, would you like a go?" Would have been rude to say no

The first L4D was good as it brought all the Zombie mods into a good polished game and added some fireworks. But for me that is where it stopped, its nice, its fun but Im not shelling out another 30 quid on the same old same old. Think Ill wait till its on a special weekend for a fiver
