Hmm.. Its probably melting and re-soldering loose contacts that did it in the heat... I wonder why he thought of doing that? lol

I dunno. Putting any kind of electrical kit in an oven, isnt my first thought of a remidy. . . I certainly wouldnt say it was "common sence" but then im not you bullet...
