Tweak Fan speed etc.

Hey guys, as you might know I have a problem with my graphic card, I think its a heat issue. A guy I know told me it might get better if I raise the fans speed. Anyone know a good tweaking program which i can use to raise the fans speed? Oh and I would also like to know if there is any way to moniture how warm the graphic card gets while playing?

Used to use SPeedfan and if a nvidia based system NVMonitor. But whats the problem you are having?
