I should know this but i dont.
Basically, i want to record from my Xbox360/TV to my Laptop so i get a file that i can upload to youtube.. simples
Now i know ill need some sort of capture device? usb? and maybe some software, ive googled and got some complicated shit, but does anyone here have first hand experience with this?

Basically, you need a capture card of some sort, a card/ USB device... ( I think ).
Ive used Pinnicle in all my 15 years of video editing and production ( ive even sold library film to UK tv stations ) but they have been bought out by Hauppauge.
I dont have a xbox or ps2, infact any console, but thats the only thing I can think of , unless you "cam" the image?
