Old Classics

while bored shitless yesterday i was trawling through Steam and to my utter joy i discovered one of my forgotton all time favorite games ! Gunstar Heros by the mighty Treasure Software from about 1992 (i think) aa)

it only takes seconds to download and at £2 its a bargin, i was playing it all last night and after nearly 20yrs its still utterly sublime to play and a beautifull piece of design :D ! its best played with your Xbox controller and you can still play it 2 player co-op  i cant reccomend it enough if you like retro shooters !

Take a look http://store.steampowered.com/app/71117/

There are loads of other classics on there but Gunstar Heroes is in a class of its own ! anybody else re discoverd any true classics recently ?
The Fail Cakes are on me !................

Re: Old Classics

If you ever frequented arcades when you were a kid this might interest you.
http://www.mame32-roms.chessman21.com/
The software it plays is the actual software used on arcade machines..even down to having to insert coins.
Theres only a small selection on the site above but a quick google of mame32 roms brings up a ton of them.
Heres a site that has a list of them but no downloads http://www.mamedb.com/
Not sure of the legal standing of such emulators so this post is for informative purposes only.
