Re: EA removes new titles from Steam
When you read the article it tells you that EA have already removed 2 hugely popular game (Crysis 2 and Alice: Madness Returns) from the Steam Store and are only available thorugh EA's new online store Origin .CrAp wrote:rumours rumours rumours,if we shoot all the people that spread rumours the world would be a calmer place to live in
They've announced BioWare’s upcoming MMO, Star Wars: The Old Republic, would be released exclusively on Origin.
It's a fairly solid "rumour" or educated guess that BF3 will only be available via Origin.
Re: EA removes new titles from Steam
doesnt really matter where i get the game from, aslong as i can play the fekkin game, you cant blame them from getting the most out the game in financial perspectif. I mean, what would you do if you made the game and you had all the rights to sell, you would make the deal that gives you the most profit.
Re: EA removes new titles from Steam
Question : Although we cant buy the game through steam can we still add the game to steam?
Re: EA removes new titles from Steam
you can add games as non-steamgames, just click on Add Game and then Add Non-steam game, if done it with alot of games

Update from EA
Update: EA Released a statement to IGN regarding the debacle:
It’s unfortunate that Steam has removed Crysis 2 from their service. This was not an EA decision or the result of any action by EA.
Steam has imposed a set of business terms for developers hoping to sell content on that service – many of which are not imposed by other online game services. Unfortunately, Crytek has an agreement with another download service which violates the new rules from Steam and resulted in its expulsion of Crysis 2 from Steam.
Crysis 2 continues to be available on several other download services including Origin.com.
