Cheap Steam games

A couple of friends of mine have used these guys to buy steam keys for games at cut down prices

http://www.cjs-cdkeys.com/

Dead Island £21.99
BF3 £20.50
Deus Ex: Human Revolution £16.70

Basically you download the game via Steam and enter the Activation Key they send you through email

Not sure how ligit these guys are but my friends have got their games alright so far

Re: Cheap Steam games

BF3 isn't going to be on Steam, so I'd be wary.

Someone sent me a link for a similar website yesterday for CD keys (haven't got the link in work) , not restricted to Steam games , they also had CD keys for Origin games with BF3 at around £20.

The guy that sent it to me and 6 of his friends bought Dead Island keys for Steam. The keys for Steam are region locked though and they had to use a VPN to activate them. BF3 is not region locked though.

I'd still be skeptical of any third party websites offering games at such low prices before release.

I'm sure I read somewhere the other week that some clever sod found millions of codemasters keys for Dirt3 on a public server and put them up for all to use. Last I heard is those who used the keys can expect to lose the game, maybe even get banned from steam. Don't know if thats true though - I'd be wary myself.

Similar site - G2play.net

It's an awfully laid out site, but I've bought a few games off them and have nothing but good to say about them so far!

Re: Cheap Steam games

they are usualy region locked for russia ( as most games are about £17 of ebay from a trustworthy guy from lithuania ), he will tell you how to use VPN, or he will log on as you and activate it ( without stealing account ), and all you have to do is d/l from steam and thats it, I have just got Rage anarchy for £24 with the sewers dlc like this, and after mateybob has activated it you can obviously change your password so he cant get back in :)
