is 1.4meg the speed of the powerline or your connection through it to the internet?

Because 1.4meg is sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow for powerline.

the paid connection speed to the router is 2meg, and through the powerline the pc is picking up speeds of 1.4meg which by modern standards aint a lot but its fast enough for what my folks will be doing, and their house is out in the wilderness too !
