Yes. Back in the days when I worked in a hi-fi store in australia I picked up a pair of HD590 headphones by Sennheiser. I have owned them for around 10 years and used them for all kinds of music, electronic / rock / jazz / classical - and also for gaming where they really shine because they are incredibly comfortable, going around the ear instead of pressing against them (like the headphones you have there - which are closed, and makes them look to me like they will be uncomfortable after a long gaming session).
Another advantage is they have an incredible sound-stage. This makes music sound full of depth and you can pin-point a snare drum and a guitar lick with precision. For FPS games hearing footsteps for the first time will put a smile on your face as you can literally use it to your advantage locating enemies.
I'm still blown away with these headphones. I think now days the HD590 in the range is called the 598 and looks a little bit different to mine (in fact they look nicer) but I'd say the quality is right up there still with the original, so try them out if you can. They're a little bit more expensive than the headphones you're looking at there, but if you can really hear the difference then I recommend the extra bucks. Sennheiser have a great warranty and you can replace nearly every part of their cans (I can still get original parts for these headphones that have been out of production for years).
Hope this helps and good luck with your purchase. =)
Wow that was quick. Let me know what you think of them. Their striking design I see is not to all taste but you won't exactly wear them down the street...
Now that's very good headphone. Too big to wear them in the streets but incredibly comfortable and with fantastic sound. Impossible to come in my back to knife now eheheheh (sorry Nem !)
I just ordered some Sol Republic headphones for outside music :
