erm cl_fov 75 or something like that. means stuff doesn't look all messed up in widescreen.
im pretty sure off the top of my head, its a banned cvar.
Think about it logically, you increase your fov, your giving your self an advantage over those whose's system cant stretch to the same level of performance. Don't have access to css to try it at the mo,

I use a 19" LG Flatron or whatever its called, got a feeling its the same as the one someone else posted here.
