Re: OnLive

The only way this could work is if its some sorta VNC player for games but that would be just shit as it will be mr MPEG and hell standard DVDs are bad enough when it comes to action parts.

If its just downloads..... well dur Steam... been there done that pissed off with it already.

Cant play games when not online that you already paid for.... yea thats great!

Re: OnLive

Yeah - I read somewhere today - think of the bandwidth! 700Mbyte/hour was mentioned.
1.5meg/s for the standard feed and 5meg/s for hi deff. So the hi deff will chew up 2.2gigbyte per hour of your bandwidth cap.

I dunno about you but mine is 50gig a MONTH!

That gives me 20 hours a month of gaming! woot! (assuming nobody else wants to use internets  )

and it will probably be shit too.

Re: OnLive

Bandwidth caps still exist?
Tbh I don't like the sound of this, and I hope it doesn't catch on. The way Valve are doing it with Steam is the most logical way to me.

But imagine the thousands of pounds you could save on upgrading your PC! Could be spent elsewhere.. like Slarty's "Brothel of man-love".
