heheh... well i'm a programmer in the real world, so i'm used to working with 2 monitors.... obviously not necessary having 2 for gaming.

but 2 the same would also look better aesthetically.

also - i've been looking at upgrading my keyboard and can't decide between the 2 options below

logitech illuminated keyboard
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001 ... d_i=468294

Saitek Eclipse III Backlit Multimedia Keyboard
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Saitek-Eclipse- ... 504&sr=8-1

i was thinking the logitec one because i do a lot of typing and this is supposed to be pretty good, but i'm not sure it would be that great when playing css and other stuff

i'm torn!!!!

yeah i like those low profile keyboards,

i got the razer lycosa Image

but the WASD keys are wearing out coz its that funny rubber texture coated stuff or whatever.

im liking that logitech one, not the saitek though. In fact i might go get the Logitech one if i can find a shop near my work!

Also got the Logitech, but the painted area above the right arrow key is starting to wear (yes ARROW keys - to hell with you WASD shit  )- other than that, by far the best keyboard i've ever had.

I have two LG 22" next to each other and it works a treat. Now because of Windows/games limitations, you cannot easily use the other screen for IM, email etc. while gaming as switching between them can be buggy.

In my opinion, 24" is still too expensive compared to a 22" one.

i think thats why god invented Xfire :D

why you would ever need to be browsing the web or checking emails while gaming has always eluded me.

only thing i could get a use of 2 monitors from would be video editing that would be sweeeeet

I've used multiple monitors for years and IMHO *3* screens is much better than 2, because the center of the combined real estate isn't the crack between two monitors. CSS gives you a wider field of view (see below) rather than just stretch the 4:3 image.

The trick is to use 20" 4:3 monitors (widescreen also works tho) and Matrox triplehead2go (200 quid). Your graphics card thinks you have a single screen and all the acceleration still works efficiently, unlike trying to plug multiple screens into multiple cards.. the th2go card maxes out at 5040x1050 resolution which is a lot but less than the max resolution of the screens you could buy. I run *my* th2go at 3840x1024 because that gives me good CSS fps and higher is too much for my 8800GT (each of my screens is natively 1600x1200 so I throw some of that away). *Everyone* that uses th2go agrees it's totally badass for gaming - for desktop use there's a compromise on the max resolution.
