Apparantly it's been announced that there's a new L4D2 coming out.

I was rather hoping they'd actually finish the first L4D before starting a sequel. Am I the only one disappointed about the lack of maps/campaigns?

the SDK is out now... look at the % of custom to normal maps for CS:S and thats been out 4-5 years ish... give it some time and it'll build up

L4D2 wil be on the same engine and the same game probably... but as slarti says... links?

If it is the same basics, could it be an extension pack release? cheeky to launch a sequel so soon

Hmm corporate bullshit - not happy at this at all - sell us an unfinished game for big bucks, then make it redundent in less than a year, without properly supporting the first release everyone spent their hard earned cash on. Poor. Very poor customer relations. (but they know we all love the game, and are suckers - start saving now....)

im going to get it. i cant wait. i do feel they should continue to upgrade the first one as well though, adding more maps etc.

ANOUNCE HL2E3 YOU BASTARDS, I don't want L4D2 (yet) release it when this one has had a chance to age a little, maybe even support it with new DLC like oh I dunno, Team Fortress 2. You spend £26 on L4D, it has virtually no levels and no SDK, they FINALLY release a small amount of DLC and a month later announce the seccond game.

i sound like a cracked record but tbh...


whats the fucking point? L4D is all about having fun shooting zommies with ur mates...

all they are gonna do with a sequel is ramp up the gfx and gimp everyone who isn't top notch, and your STILL just gonna shoot zommies with your mates...

Windows7 RC1 was free... i did it as a test to see what it was like to have a new OS since ive been on XP since well... forever........

rite i dont know bout anyone else but dosent it seem like they wer probly working on this b4 the first one came out cos 6months for a hole new game seems quick perhaps the first one was just a sorta demo 2 test the waters only they dint count on it being such a huge hit ? that would acount for only having the 4 campaines but then dont know how meany the new one will hav so could be talking a load bull
