Was playing on server 1 and then wanted to move to server 2 but got stock for few sec on a "connection to server" and then appears the following message :

"connection failed after 4 retries"

Code: Select all

Connection failed after 4 retries.

retried it, same
restarted steam, same
restarted my computer, same
throw my computer through the windows, same but felt better (lol)

I still can play on server 1 or 3...
I played on server 2 earlier on with IXL tho, everythings worked well...

Any help is welcome...

sounds like you got the infamous blob factor!

aka: Delete the clientregistry.blob in the steam folder, reset your network adapter and all should be well

It basically holds where the vital files are held and certain ip addresses, i believe (most of it seems to be encrypted and i cba to break it).

Its not uncommon for that file to get corrupted. I delete it every now and again to freshen the speed of things.
should notice that it loads a tad quicker as well, not by much mind
