USB mic problems

Lo all,
having a bit of difficulty with a usb headset - seems to work fine in teamspeak but when i go ingame into battlefield the mic gets very distorted. have spent the afternoon bashing control panel, battlelog and teamspeak settings but only seem to have made things worse.
little help?

no, its usb so automatically installs the drivers.
i thought it was the drivers conflicting with bf3 voip settings or some such, but it doesnt seem to be.
Its strange, works fine on TS when not in game, but distorts madly once I alt tab into it.

Dump the cheap usb shite and get a real sound card (€10) or even better use the sound card built into your mobo!

No Schlack pleeeeese don't fix it. I just love spending hours in game with the "Can your hear me now?", "How about xxzzzxxyyzzzxxxssstttxxzz?", "Shit fuck xxxzzzst ffzsst"
