Hey Guys,

is someone using a Covertible Tablet PC? I'm fancy with an Lenovo Thinkpad X230t But I'm not sure if its a good decision. Maxbe a normal Laptop X230 is enough for me. I just want to surf with this device if I visit my parents or sitting on my couch and watching tv. It's not for Gaming. It's only for surfing, E-Mails, Chatting, maybe watching a movie.

I don't know if I really need a touchscreen or it is just a "nice-to-have".

Kindle fire HD

Wife has the kindle its ok but I wouldn't have one myself its basically a large smart phone without the phone part and it doesn't run flash


Iv seen the ardvets for the laptop/ tablets
They look good but I don't see them being really practical think would be
Prety big when using like a tablet compared to an actual tablet

The windows tablet looks cool in the ardvets with the snap on keyboard

yeah i think it is really large if u use it only as a tablet. its up to 30mm tall.
maybe i should wait for the thinkpad helix. you can disconnect the tablet part from the keyboard(and second battery) and its small and lower as 1kg.

kindle is no option. i want a device with a real keyboard

Thanks for this advice. I was also considering of - maybe - buying one. Now i want one.

Nice handling if you only want to use apple products and I hate I-Tunes!
